Flavine was established
in 1975 in the US and 1976 in Germany as a marketing and distribution
company for fine chemicals and active pharmaceutical ingredients to
the human and animal health industries.
For over
26 years Flavine has introduced manufacturers of active pharmaceutical
ingredients, fine chemicals and nutritional additives from Europe
and Asia to finished dosage form manufacturers in North America and
Europe. During the last 10 years Flavine has added Intermediates for
API manufacturers and Nutritional Supplements and Phyto-Pharmaceuticals
to our supply program.
Our marketing
groups are our Human Health, Animal Health, Specialty Products and
Intermediates Divisions. Both the Human Health and Animal Health groups
handle Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients and all products requiring
FDA or other Health Authority approval for respective drug applications
and are supported on the precursor supply side by the Intermediates
Division. The Specialty Products Divisions handles Nutritional Supplements
and Phyto-Pharmaceuticals, which generally do not require drug approvals.
Regulatory
matters are addressed by an experienced regulatory consulting firm,
together with our in-house technical and regulatory personnel. We
maintain regular contact with our finished dosage form customers,
our bulk pharmaceutical manufacturers and the relevant government
agencies with regard to regulatory and technical matters, and assist
our customers and manufacturers both during and after the approval
process with routine audits to assure continuous compliance.
Flavine
also maintains representatives in China for both commercial and regulatory
matters. The prime locations in the US, Europe and Asia enable us
to represent and cooperate closely with manufacturers and introduce,
market and distribute their products in our marketing areas.
Flavine's
corporate offices and warehouses are located in Closter, New Jersey
and in Munich, Germany. In May of 2001 Flavine North America relocated
to a larger, modern combined office and warehouse facility capable
of handling the company's growing business and operations. Both corporate
offices, and all Flavine employees in the field and Flavine representatives
in China and throughout the world, have access to leading communications
and data systems, which are upgraded regularly. Flavine's mission
is to assist our finished dosage form customers to obtain quality
products from reputable and reliable active substance manufacturers
which are in cGMP compliance and meet the requirements of our customers
as well as those of all necessary regulatory agencies.
Flavine
International, Inc. through its subsidiaries Flavine North America,
Inc. and Flavine Europe GmbH is dedicated to serving the Human and
Animal Health Industries by combining the vast experience, knowledge
and expertise of its personnel with cutting edge communication, project
management and logistical systems.
